A rebel group of Gems living on Earth who protect humanity and value individuality and freedom. They oppose Homeworld’s authoritarian rule and teach Steven empathy and choice.

Homeworld Gems

The ruling Gem civilization that follows a strict caste system and values efficiency over emotion. They originally sought to colonize Earth regardless of the consequences.

The Great Diamond Authority

The highest ruling body of Homeworld, composed of the Diamonds who control Gem society. Each Diamond represents absolute authority and emotional influence over other Gems.

Off-Colors

Gems considered defective or abnormal by Homeworld standards. They live in hiding and symbolize diversity, imperfection, and resistance to rigid norms.

Rose Quartz’s Rebellion

A revolutionary movement that fought against Homeworld to protect Earth. It was founded on the belief that Gems should have freedom and self-determination.

Humans

Ordinary people living on Earth, mostly unaware of Gem history. They represent normal life, emotional growth, and contrast with Gem immortality.

Beach City Residents

The local human community where Steven grows up. They provide a sense of belonging, routine, and emotional grounding for Steven.
